With a 25A rating, the EGIS 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker provides a dedicated protection and disconnect point for battery-fed DC wiring. Automatic over-current response protects the circuit, and the manual switching function lets the installer or operator open the circuit without adding a separate disconnect.
The 87 Series platform works on 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48VDC electrical systems. Its enclosure is sealed against environmental contamination, and the ignition-protected construction is appropriate for enclosed compartments. EGIS also specifies 6,000 full-current switching cycles and high interrupt capability for circuits fed from large battery banks.
Stainless hardware and serrated flange nuts help keep the high-current connections secure, and silicone terminal covers add protection around the terminals. The panel-mount design supports a compact installation where the breaker can be checked and operated without opening a separate enclosure.
