The em-trak GPS100 is a GPS antenna with a 10 meter cable, for all em-trak Class A and B transceivers.
An AIS transceiver needs its own GPS position rather than borrowing one from a chartplotter, because the position it transmits has to be independent and continuously available. That is why a dedicated antenna ships with the system rather than sharing an existing one.
Ten meters of cable covers a run from a transceiver below to an antenna sited with a clear sky view, which usually means above the coachroof or on an arch. It suits all em-trak Class A and B transceivers, and the product cannot be returned to the point of purchase, so any issue goes direct to the manufacturer. Explore more marine antennas.
