The HawkEye DepthTrax 1H is a handheld sonar depth finder and temperature reader. It gives instant depth readings from as shallow as 2.5 ft and reads water or air temperature to within a tenth of a degree. It can shoot through ice for accurate depth readings while ice fishing.
It is waterproof to 200 ft with an IPX8 rating. A backlit screen keeps it readable at night, and a safety lanyard keeps it from going overboard. It uses a 200 kHz transducer with a 14 degree beam.
It runs on one 9 V alkaline battery, not included, for about 25 hours. The unit measures 2 x 2 x 8 in, small enough for a tackle bag or coat pocket. It is handy for checking depth before anchoring, wading or drilling an ice hole. See every option in our fish finder units.
