The Marbles 416 Safety Folder closes to 6.25 inches, longer shut than most knives are open, with a 4.5-inch satin stainless blade in an imitation stag handle, nickel silver bolsters, a lanyard hole and an extended tang opener.
At 6.25 inches closed this is a very large folder, longer shut than most knives are open, with a 4.5-inch blade that puts it closer to a fixed blade in cutting capacity. The extended tang is the opening point, a tab past the pivot pushed with the thumb, which on a blade this heavy gives more purchase than a nail nick could.
Imitation stag is molded and textured to copy deer antler, giving the ridged traditional look consistently where genuine stag varies in size, color and price. A slip joint holds the blade on spring tension, so this wants respect at this size rather than the confidence a lock would give. Explore more Traditional Knives.
