The Shellback Tactical Level IIIA Model CLCIIIA Soft Armor Plate Backers provide level IIIA ballistic protection while maintaining a lightweight and low-profile design. Built with 100% woven aramid fibers and engineered for modern plate carriers, these soft armor inserts are NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA certified and listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List.
These plate backers can be worn in a stand alone configuration with provides level IIIA handgun protection or worn with in conjunction hard plats which provides rifle threat protection. The SAPI cut shape ensures compatibility with most plate carriers on the market including military issued carriers. Each set includes two soft armor backers and is available in four standard ESAPI sizes. The heat sealed ripstop cover provides durability and water resistance in demanding operational environments.
